“And he said: Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3

I never really understood this verse until now. I was sitting in church this morning and Blessings, our pastor, was speaking. He told us to put our hands up, pray, and worship God for all that he has done. I was sitting in the back row and all the children were behind me. I turned around to see them eyes closed and hands up praying to God. This amazes me every time I see them worshiping. On the race I have become free in worship and now don’t care what people around me are thinking. Before though I was very concerned on how everyone else was worshiping. These children are so free in worship and it inspires me. Children don’t have any worries and they don’t have much fear. I bet a children could go sky diving without even thinking twice. They don’t care what people think of them. I think this is what Jesus was referring to. He is telling us to be like children. Not to be less mature or anything like that, but to worship him like a child. To have child like faith is to only worry about God and to not have fears or worries.
