“He told them, “It was because of your lack of faith. I promise you, if you have faith inside of you no bigger than the size of a small mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move away from here and go over there,’ and you will see it move! There is nothing you couldn’t do!”
Matthew 17:20 (TPT)

The lands are dotted with them
Bright yellow flowers.
Hundreds, dare I say thousands of them.
Beautiful. Each of them.
Single. And in masses.
I asked my friend
“What are those? Those yellow flowers?”
He replied
“Mustard”
Mustard seeds.
The smallest. Tiniest. Most minuscule object.
And Jesus says that’s all the faith we need.
The faith of this small seed
That dots the mountainside.
Jesus, how?
I say to this mountain “move”
And it moves?
And all I need is faith as small as this seed?
We trekked in the mountains to this tiny village.
So remote.
So isolated.
We walked into this dark room.
Dark so deep no eye can see.
A small fragile woman lying in the bed that’s been all she’s known for a year.
We had faith as small as this seed and we said to that body, “rise up and walk in the name of Jesus.”
We felt the Spirit move.
We felt the demons start to flee.
And the black room got a bit lighter.
Hours past.
We had faith as small as this seed.
But we did not see that body rise and walk.
We departed with faith as small as this seed.
We asked God “why?”
We had faith as small as this seed.
And He said “peace.”
“Bring my peace.”
The next morning as the sun rose,
We trekked up that hill to that small village.
We walked into that dark room
With faith as small as this seed.
We declared in Jesus’ name
That this body just know peace,
Peace that exists only because of He,
He who speaks to me
“You only need faith as small as this seed”.
The room got a bit brighter.
Peace could be felt there.
And peace now in our hearts.
All because we had faith as small as this seed.
