Standing here on this balcony watching the sun rise over this hill and cast hues of pink, purple, blue and orange onto the water. There’s beauty in this stillness; There’s beauty in this silence.
“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.”
Lord, I’m seeing your goodness. I’m amazed at how well you know my heart. This sunrise; that mountain; that sunflower field. God, you know me so well. I feel so loved by you, right now, here, in this moment. I feel so seen and known. Your intimacy is unmatched; your love un-wavering.
“Be still and know that I am God.”
Lord, I’m still. I’m looking to you for my source of love and strength. You are my life blood. Your love is like a hurricane but it’s also as gentle as the sunrise on the soft waves of the ocean. Your creation reflects your beauty- nature but also me- I reflect your beauty.
“You are altogether beautiful, my darling.”
