And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

As some of you guys know, since our Leaders made the announcement of the Route Changes and the new countries of my route: Swaziland and South Africa, I started to research about how to get into those Countries.

VISAS for this two countries are required for people of my country, El Salvador. Of 50 people I was the only person in the squad with this kind of troubles.

The plan to get into this countries, it was flinging into South Africa and landing in Johannesburg and from there travel by land in a very long bus ride to Swaziland. So I needed a “Transit Visa” to be able to make the trip with my squad. I spent the whole month of November trying to get the Visas, the main problem was that Nepal doesn’t have a South African Embassy, when people from Nepal want to go to South Africa they need to apply trough the consulate in Sri Lanka and the whole process to get it done will take from 6 to 8 weeks, since we got to Nepal I didn’t have that time, and it was a huge risk the fact that I needed to sent my passport out of the country.  So I sent a lot of email to consulates and embassies, phone calls, I ask travel agencies but nothing worked out. I didn’t get them…

At the end of the month of november, my Squad Mentors told me that they were going to put me in different squad for two months, the time that Tsquad was going to be in Africa, and after that I was going to meet them in Asia again.

So they decided to put me with Rsquad, one of the squad that left the USA at the same time that us in july.

The idea of leaving Tsquad and my new team was really scary and having to talk to my hole squad about it was one of the hardest thing that I have done.

I love squad so much. Im going to miss them so much.

I got their prayers and their encouragement, and my squad Leader Jeff told me something that really helped me to accept what was going on, he told me that this mission trip is not about your journey in a squad or in a team, Its about YOU and The Lord.

Rsquad was going to Thailand, so I stared to work on my Thai visa at the next day realizing that it was going to take a couple days and a lot of paperwork. Rsquad was leaving the country in the next 3 days, so I had to stay back by myself on Nepal and catch a different flight to Thailand the next week.

At the same time that I was sad and disappointed some of the people on Rsquad were sending me encouragement and showing me a lot of love with a warm welcome to their squad and I realized that they are an amazing group.

Tsquad left Nepal a day before thanksgiving, It really hit me hard when I had to say goodbye to them and had to see them leave to the airport without me.

That night I got a call from one of my squad mentors telling me that they were going to sent me to a completely different squad, Vsquad a younger squad with 3 month on the field, they were on their way to Cambodia.

On Thanksgiving day, even when the plans changed about my new squad I hang out for most of the day with people of Rquad, getting to know them was really cool! They are an amazing squad, no doubt that joining their squad It would have been fun and a blessing.

So I had plane tickets to go to Cambodia! on the 30th I finally left Nepal…

But something unexpected on my way there happened…
