Greetings everyone! My name is Gretta Hoglund, as you probably already know. I am a small town girl with many hopes and dreams. Although the normal thing someone would do after high school is move on toward the college of their dreams. For me my dreams take me elsewhere. I know that this is what God has been calling me to do rather than go to college without a thought in mind of why I would be going. I want to help people and share the love of God with them. By pairing with Adventures in Missions this allows me to do everything that I hope and dream to do. It’s crazy to some people that I would rather go blindly into countries all over the world and do amazing work than stay and do something I already know. This is a big step out of my comfort zone, of course it is, but I am willing and prepared to learn from those around me and my team. Yes, my team. No I will not be going on this endeavor alone. As we experience new things together and strengthen our relationships with each other and Christ I encourage you to pray for us as we go into the unknown, literally. I also encourage you to pray about funding for us. Just like kids moving on toward college and having to pay for college we also have to pay for this trip. It would be a huge help if you would consider funding us and me personally so that we can live out Christ and do His work in the countries that need it most.
