Hello everyone!
I am Greg Patton, I will be graduating Augustana College in Rock Island Illinois this May. I am involved in men's track and field and have a number of on campus jobs. I am an accounting and political science major and have a minor in geography. This past summer I worked in Yellowstone National Park with the Yellowstone YCC and I loved it. I had the opportunity to take high school students from around the country backpacking and hiking in one of the world's most beautiful environments.
Last winter I studied abroad in Brazil for 6 weeks. I lived with a Brazilian family for two weeks and their hospitality is something I will remember forever. Brazil is where I felt my call to the mission's fields. My ministry thus far has been serving as a Young Life Leader with local high school student for the past three years. I love Young Life and the basis it has given me for serving others for Christ. I am overwhelmed by joy and excitement for taking part of the World Race this September. I first heard about the world race last winter while catching up with a high school friend who is currently on the race!
