GREATEST FOOD EVER!!!
However, our days consist of doing whatever it is we so please to do! And we are in Thailand so there is so much to do! I have so far had in the past 4 hours the greatest pineapple smoothie ever, 15 chicken pineapple skewers from heaven, the GREATEST pad thai in the world, a giant swiss chocolate role, and maybe a dog type thing! All sooooooo good!!
We also ate at this market type place where all the locals seem to eat and it was legit! It was cool because there are a ton of little food venues and it appeared that each venue cooked more or less only one type of food, and the center of the market was where you get drinks. Let me explain, it is a giant courtyard type place SURROUNDED with small food venues with each venue being run by one or two people. One place makes and prepares raw fish only, the one next to it prepares lemon chicken and rice only, next to it phai thai only, next to it chicken skewers, next to it soup, etc. (The soup is legit because they just bring out a giant clay pot with embers that you boil at your table so that you can put in whatever ingredients you want in it. You make it your self.) And in the middle there where two woman in a venue with all kinds of soda, juice, beer, etc. and they where running EVERYWHERE like crazy with many flavors of Fanta in their hands as people order drinks. It was just a very cool type atmosphere.
It was also cool because all the lights were green, yellow, pink, blue, and other crazy colors. And the tables were all crazy multi colors as well with some of the most fashionable asian people I have ever seen sitting at them. I mean come on! I already stick out because I am white, but now I look way underdressed as I walk around in a stained bro tank, gym shorts that I have worn for 4 days straight, and crazy hair due to not showering for about 5 days. Also doesn't help that I haven't shaved in two months and no one here can grow facial hair….
Also, people here know how to drive! They have street lights and lanes for people to drive in! There is no honking every 5 seconds! They have a speed limit people obey! They have cross walks!
Overall, within in about 24 hours I can say this is an amazing place with beautiful people, GREAT food, and a lifetime of memories. While we don't know what we will be doing while we are here, I know HE has something huge planned and it is going to blow my mind! (I will let yall know what we will be doing once I find out). All in all, I can for sure say I will be coming back here in the future! Pictures to come, because wifi is actually fast here!!!! Thailand rocks!!
