It is so hard to believe that this time last year I had just started preparing to go on the Race. Now I am 6 months in, over half way done, and heading to Africa tomorrow to spend three months there. God is good!
Again, thank you all so much for all of the generous donations, for following my blogs, for the prayers, and for constant words of encouragement. Believe me when I say I wouldn't have made it this far if not for all these things! Hear me out when I say I love you! You are all my brothers and sisters and together we are one family in Christ. I love you,
Here is a really quick recap of the past 6 months, and remember many of these lives would not have been touched if it were not for your generous giving!
*Encourage and pray for the body of believers in India by visiting over 30 different villages
*Hike to over 10 different villages through out the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal and pray for and share the gospel with the people there, and also love on a sweet woman named Bisnamyu.
*Share the gospel with university students in Thailand and help a pastor there lay the foundation for a weekly worship time and bible study for those students.
*Homeschool a pastors 3 children and love on the People in Malaysia, where the gospel was not allowed, by teaching them English
*Support a local pastor in Cambodia in his ministry of discipling several young men who are new christians and visit several poor villages, sharing the gospel, offering medical care and prayer for the people living there.
* In Vietnam we fellowshiped with and loved on lepers, prostitutes, students, the poor, recovering drug addicts, and orphans by sharing the gospel, aid, and our lives.
This is just a summary of what God has done through us while in these countries, and one can only imagine the ripple effect. However, I still need just little bit more financial support to remain on the field for 5 more months! I need 1964.85 and I only have about a week or so to raise it. If you can only give 5 dollars then I will receive it with a warm heart! Let us not forget the parable of the widow. If you give from a generous heart of love then it is by no means unseen by God, regardless the amount!
