It was all a dream – “The Notorious BIG”
The little positive voice in my head and I were playing pictionary around 5 years prior.
I knew there was a concept of Travel and writing but I didn’t expect it to be this official. Be careful what you wish for because once you see the blueprint, you start to hesitate on what you wanted in the first place. Success is way scarier than failure. This is most deff not what I expected to be doing at 22. From SacTown to The Big A, we stayed in a Big boujee Hilton for 5 days, where they put out coffee for our event at 100 bucks per gallon, Like alright World Race when is the real stuff happening…
I showed up a day early but it was cool, I just bunked with the 1 other guy on my team. 1 other guy out of 4 girls plus 3 other female Leaders. the guys name is Jason. Shameless Plug: Jasonkeeran.theworldrace.org

It’s Frustrating for me to see the lack of men in the church today. I want to call out leaders of any large christian organizations to step your game up and focus on the problem at hand.
We don’t need any more christians in the church. We need Godly men, NOT “Girlie men” – Arnold Schwarzenegger
(PS: Mr. “Seth Barnes” if you’re reading this, you should consider advancing advertisement equally catered to Men & Women for the future of the “World Race” and for the future of “Christianity” as a whole.

From my point of view in America,
the road to manhood is a bit confusing to follow as it is tricky for women. Ladies, we have Idolized your Body, making you believe that it’s the only part of you worthy of praise. We created a sex competitive world making you use an identity that should only be shared with that special someone. 😉
Seriously though,
There is a confusion on gender roles. Since Fatherless is real, boys don’t know how to act like men, this is no excuse. The lack of love from a father causes a lack of direction and a hole in the heart, regardless if you’re male / female. We follow money, fame and sexual relationships to fill that hole. Women get used like a drug by boys trying to fulfill themselves and vice versa. We mistake this in our culture as love, but indeed this is infatuation.
Let’s be Honest, if I were to take this extreme, someone passionate on being Feminist, doesn’t give me any warm feeling to run up and speak with them. She is spraying on man repellent for a good reason. She’s been bitten a few too many times and honestly this really sucks. I didn’t go to bellhop school, still learning how to navigate, but I’ve picked up enough of my own bags to understand where she’s coming from.
What She’s doing is empowering herself to become independent, preventing any more damage from sketchy dudes. Recognizing Her feelings are valid, she should have her guard up. If this is all she sees from men time to time again, she begins to shut down and build the idea, all men are not safe. Eventually losing trust Putting all men into a category of evil, all because a few losers wanted to “get some”. Women are frustrated because they are having to fill male gender roles they were never intended to fill.
A Mans biggest fear is rejection, and the most common false belief is not being good enough.
One thing I’ve noticed is when “good guys” are actually present, Strong women fail to recognize them, taking the lead by force and discarding any male opinions. When this happens, it affirms men in weakness, driving an invisible wedge of bitterness between us, adding to the corruption of sexism.
Women we love and respect you but we need your help.
You help us recognize that we are good enough to grow into strong men. In some cases, women need to give us room to grow and instead of challenging us, encourage us to take ownership, becoming strong future men we were put on this earth to be. Men, we are great leaders, but only if we take the steps to do so……
Back in the day, My life was just a game. Like a roller coaster, my emotions would rise or fall according to who I had on my arm at the time. It was a blast that did not last and when you think about it, we tend to only remember the good, forgetting times of depression, attempting suicide or whatever true emotions come out when you’re half sober. I was a player and I had the rep to prove it. The thing is once you start a game, you have to put another $ 0.50 in the machine to keep the game over screen from popping up so after a while your pockets start to hurt. I can’t play them videos no more, so when the Disk is spinning, Id like to have a real plot with substance in the movie. There’s authentic purpose greater than yourself when you stepping in truth. However, this is much easier said than done.
On the real, Jesus said “Welcome to Forever” over 3 years ago and I’m still bugging on the weight of walking it out. It’s sketch for me to trust new people and even trust myself. It’s insane to see where I was 5 years ago, not honoring women and all. Now God is showing me how to live with 5 girls for 11 months and I can assure you, It can be overwhelming at times. In the most loving way possible, I would rather be snowboarding, caught in an avalanche than experience uncomfortable things such as this. I know God is turning up heat to teach me how real men of God should act. Im definitely not perfect, battling doubt and many times I want to give up but that’s not an option. The road is physically and mentally unfamiliar, but I know only once in a lifetime do we ever get an opportunity to willingly let God perform that brain surgery.
Please Pray for God to change my heart but keep me the same.
