jOhoLO

Last week at camp, we went through a series of  trials to find who we best fit with when forming teams. The results of the best team put together… Team Joholo. You might be asking yourself right about now, “What the heck is Joholo?” Joholo stands for joy, hope, and love. It fits our team like a glove. We are so happy all the time, always smiling, always loving, and always trusting the Lord in all He does. My team members are Casey & Erin Scritchfield (Casey is our team leader), Drea Statzer, Julia Luu, David Hepting, and April Wright. I love them so much and am honestly having major withdraws without them by my side every second of the day as we were last week.

A lot of supporters have asked who I will be traveling with throughout the year. This is the family I will eat with, sleep beside, minister with, and even blow my nose by everyday. At the end of each month we will regroup with the entire “K” Squad for debrief with our coaches. We are not quite sure if we will also be debriefing with “J” Squad, I think the possibility is high.

Please, please, please remember when praying not to forget my team members. They will be my crutch in times I am hurting and I will be theirs as well. We are a community now serving God and God alone. If the enemy is battling one of us, the enemy is battling all of us. I ask you to continue praying for me and my personal journey, but I challenge you to pray for these individuals you might not ever meet. They are a part of me now and if these parts are infected, I become infected.

I put a video together of Team Joholo while we were together at camp. I think you’ll see what we mean when we say “Joy, Hope, and Love” after watching it. Enjoy and God Bless You!
