Hey Friends and Family!
In just a few ays I will be on my way to Atlanta, Georgia to leave for my World Race Gap Year! Since around February of 2018, I have been fundraising in order to prepare for the World Race, and have seen God’s hand in these finances the entire time. Throughout this process, I have had an overwhelming peace and have come to realize that people not only believe in God’s will being done, but having His will be done through me. I have learned that it is my privilege and pleasure to serve the Lord in all that I do, not just a responsibility as a Christian.
My trip for the next nine months will venture from Ecuador to Peru, to Guatemala, and finally to Cambodia, kind of random right? But I know I was meant to visit these specific places for a reason. Although I don’t know exactly what I will be doing in each country, I know that there is so much work to be done in all of these nations, and my main goal is to simply love others. It is best stated in John 15:17, “This is my command: Love each other.” In a recent conversation with a friend of mine, we dove into the topic of religion, belief systems, and how the universe works, but one thing remained true throughout all aspects of our conversation, people want to be loved. I have learned, through my relationship with the Lord and with my family, that to give love you must have love first. With the love that I have received through Christ, I am so excited to share it with people all over the world.
With only $3,000 to go, and four months to finish fundraising, I have full confidence that the Lord will provide what I need in order for me to bring His kingdom. So to everyone reading this, thank you. Thank you for supporting me in each step of my life leading up to this point. Whether you know it or not, I would not be the person I am today without each of your influences in my life. As I journey onto the mission field, I hope you will continue to support me in prayer, good vibes, and if you feel led, financial support as well.
