This month I have decided to take a break from my phone, so for the whole month I am not going to use my phone, I even let my team change my password so I wouldn’t be able to use it. It is our first few days in Myanmar, and I really love it here. Our ministry is amazing, we are teaching English for the first time on the race. We teach in the morning at our ministry host church, and at night we teach college students at our hosts house. Our host Moses is so kind to us, and he and his family have taken us in as family even though we have only been here for 5 days. The culture here is so crazy compared to anything I’ve ever seen before. The women wear paint on their faces as makeup and the men wear skirts. It’s so interesting to me how we were just in a country that was so modernized, and now we are here in a country that has been untouched by modern day society for such a long time. I have realized so many things already not having my phone, one is that I do not need it to survive, and two there are so many better things I could be doing that sitting and snap chatting my friends. The Lord has already reveled a lot of things to me through the five days of not having my phone, and I really enjoy just sitting with Him and talking to Him when I get bored instead of just going to my phone automatically. I can’t wait to dig deeper with the Lord in this time. Comment if you have any prayer request, or anything that I could be praying for this month!

P.S. mom I’m okay I’ll talk to you soon:)
