hello! so we are almost on week 3 of the race and I am so happy to be here! At first I was really struggling with not being at home but now I know that the Lord has so many great things for me here!

Every week in our ministry my team and I go into the town of Parramos, Guatemala, and we do this thing called ATL (ask the Lord). We go into the town square and pray and ask the Lord if there is anything he wants us to see or if there is anyone he wants us to pray for in specific. So on Wednesday we were doing ATL and our translator Chris was with us, he led us to this mans home, the man was very very sick and when we got there we didn’t know if we should go in or not because he wasn’t answering the door, but we noticed there was a string that we could pull on and it would open the door. We went inside and the man was in the bathroom so we waited on him to make his way out, he came out of the bathroom and he was moaning in pain. I don’t think I had ever seen someone in that much pain. As he starts walking to his room he lays down in his bed and we ask if we could pray for him and he said yes, he also told us that in February another world race team came and prayed for him and he was completely healed. So, we started praying, and we prayed that the Lord would heal this man and take all of his pain away, ever so often we would stop praying and ask the man how his pain was, and little by little his pain started to disappear. At the end he was almost completely pain free! It is amazing how the Lord works, and I’m so excited I get to experience it first hand!
