Hello friends!! It is currently 12:19 am and I have to leave to drive to the airport at 3:00 am. What prompted me to start typing a blog right now you ask? Not a clue. I suppose it could be the anxiety creeping in at the thought of meeting a whole group of new people face to face that I’m about to spend the next year with…or it could be the excitement I feel due to the realization that this is really happening!! I’m really going on this mission trip! I’m really seeing a vision that God laid on my heart come to fruition. All I am thinking about right now is how faithful God truly is. He said that He was going to make a way for this to happen and that he would provide for me and he truly has. I feel so blessed to have been placed in a community of like-minded people that I am about to LIVE with and to have such a supportive family that is rallying behind me and this plan that God has for me. I can’t wait to see what training camp holds and to experience growth from the discomfort I am sure will soon be my new temporary reality. I‘m so stoked to meet my squad and to get to know each other on a deeper level! I will be at camp in Gainesville Georgia through July 19th so please be in prayer that this time is an opportunity for growth and that the Lord reveals himself in ways that have yet to be seen. Also, please be praying for safety over myself as well as the rest of my squad as we travel to camp tomorrow! I can’t wait to update you all soon!
