Hello friends and family!
I have a few special announcements to make! It has been a very crazy few months since I last posted.
Announcement number 1…… *drum roll*
…….
I AM HALF WAY FUNDED!!!!!!
That is super super exciting!!!!! Thank you specifically to my most recent donor for his VERY generous donation. It pushed me right there at the half way mark! I also couldn’t have done it without my monthly supporters… y’all have been so faithful to me and I cant thank y’all enough. And for those of you who have given me job opportunities here and there to raise money or sometimes slip money into my pocket or purse… y’all have helped me in a huge way too. Every little bit made this happen and now I only have less than half way to go!
With only half way to go in my fundraising; I made a financial plan to be fully funded by September:
With my monthly supporters and what I am self funding for myself through work, I have $3,477 to raise! This number is getting smaller and smaller as the months go by and I’m so happy. I have a few ideas set up to raise that money, starting with t-shirts. I should have those shortly. But again… monthly supporters have been a huge part in my fundraising. That money adds up quick and makes a big difference! So if you and your family could please pray about it and see if it is something you could possibly fit into the budget. Your donation is sending me where I am called and WILL make a difference in the lives I hope to touch in these countries.
Announcement number 2…… *drum roll*
……..
TODAY, I CELEBRATE 1 YEAR OF BEING SIGNED ONTO THE WORLD RACE!!!!!!
The World Race has impacted me in a huge way. I have grown so much this past year and am honestly really glad I have had more time to spend with my family and church community. My expectation was to learn from my brother and what he got to do in South Africa. He met that expectation and has told me a lot of, not his stories, but stories of other racers that he hosted. This new knowledge is a blessing and I’m so grateful for the time I get to spend with him before I leave. I have also been introduced to a new church I have been going to on Tuesday nights called, The Porch. It’s a young adults group by Watermark church and I have felt nothing but love and welcome into their community. I cant wait to spend the rest of this time with my home church (Community Bible Church) as well and walk alongside great men and women who are experienced in missions.
This year, again, has been so amazing. I have learned a lot about looking into negative situations and pulling out positivity. But I can only do that through Jesus who lives inside me.
Again, thank you all so much for the love and support y’all have given me! Pray for not only me but also my teammates… they are raising just as much money but has had less time to raise. I know all of us can do it through Christ who gives us strength!
Thank you!
