“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever” Psalm 136:1

Something I’m learning a lot about in this season of life is how to give glory in all things to the Lord, and how to live with a thankful heart. His grace is so evident in every part of my life, both when I look back and when I see him moving today.

With ministry here officially over and us flying out to Ecuador in a few days, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on what life has looked like recently. These past three months in South Africa have been a time of growth and rejoicing the Lord for all he has done. Last week we had a giant weekend of celebration with the community here in JBay, praising God for the way he has worked over these past 10 years, and praying for the next 10 years. Seeing everyone here, young and old, acknowledge how dang faithful the Lord has been brought me so much joy, and was a beautiful reminder of why I am here doing what I’m doing. I am here to rejoice. I am here to love. I am here to do nothing but worship and praise, while serving the one who created me so intimately. This week of celebrating thanksgiving has made me feel so at home and feel so loved by everyone around me and it has reminded me of the abundant love of the Father.

I am so thankful for my time here in South Africa. The people. The culture. The ocean!!! The way Abba has revealed himself to me, and his promises to come. And the way my heart has grown and evolved. Looking back on these past 3 months and the foundation they have laid for the next six, I can’t help but raise my hands and praise the Lord. My heart is forever singing of his glory.

With that being said, I’ll see you in Ecuador! Prayers for safe travel and peace in the midst of this transition would be so appreciated! Also, I’m not quite fully funded yet, so prayers that the Lord would continue to provide financially would be amazing! And if you feel led to donate anything, there is a button at the top of my blog that says “donate”! Love y’all!<3
