This blog is just an update on my journey!
I am currently 35% funded! ($10,000 to go!!)
Training camp will be from July 6th to the 16th. This will be 10 days of meeting my squad, learning my specific role with my team, living out of my tent, hiking with my pack, and days of worship with my new family. I will find out my official launch date at training camp but I will be launching sometime in the beginning of September. My return date is also unknown at this time but I will be back in the states either the end of July or the beginning of August.
I am currently selling T-shirts to help fund my adventure!
They will be selling for $20 a piece so if you are interested let me know how many and what sizes you’d like! I will be placing the order by July 1st and will be receiving the shirts within 10 days of the order. So just let me know 🙂
I will be having a going away party before I leave! Details will have to come at a later date but I’d love to see all of you before I leave for 11 months!
I am currently working hard on making packing lists, figuring out all that I will need to be gone for 11 months, making cards for fundraising, and working hard at my job! I am SO excited for this journey. Each step so far has been a learning experience and I can only imagine how much more learning I have left to do in this journey!
