I AM ON A ROLL! Wanna know why? This is my 2nd blog post in 2 days.
Now in my last post I shared the new World Race video which is awesome, but specifically about the World Race 11 countries in 11 months trip. Now, I am crazy excited to be able to share a video from my friend LB and her group’s adventures on the last World Race: Gap Year trip. It is pretty awesome, and it really shows some of the amazing of the 3 countries in 9 months kind of trip I am going on.
Fun story! LB and I went on the Ambassador trip to Swaziland during Summer 2012. One of our leaders had just finished the Passport Immersion trip. When he talked about it I felt like I was supposed to go, but I thought I was just caught up in the mission fever. I got home and still felt called to go on this crazy trip the likes of which I had never heard of or thought of before. Guess what this trip is called now.
That’s right! It’s the World Race: Gap Year, and I still feel the calling to go. But I can’t do it alone. I need a lot of help. I need donations, not just monetary ones either. I need you to pray and to help spread the word. I do also need quite a bit of money.
See training camp starts July 19th. I need to have $9,000 in my AIM account before then, so I can go to training camp and later the trip. I currently have $5,396.94 raised, so I need $3,603.06 to get up to $9,000. The total cost of the trip is $12, 487.50, so I need $7090.56 to be fully funded. I know this is a lot. But if all the people who like Grace For the World give just $11.62 or all of my Facebook friends give just $2.62 I would have enough to be able to go to training camp. And if everybody who likes Grace For the World gives just $23.10 or all my Facebook friends give just $5.16 I would be fully funded!!
