Adios, America for the next 11 months.
Adios, to choosing to live for myself.
To comfort.
To stable electricity and internet.
To my favorite foods.
To running water.
To family and friends.
To my wants and desires for my life.
To what I thought would be.
But more importantly.. Hello.
Hello to 11 new countries and cultures.
To learning (and re-learning) how to die to myself every day.
To challenges.
To the unknown.
To new friends who become like family.
To His wants and desires for my life.
To knowing Him deeper with each passing day.
To whatever is to come.
May it all glorify His name.
We leave in the morning for the Dominican Republic. Although we don't know what each day holds, the plan is for us to work with a pastor and his church in a small town in the mountains. I don't know how good or frequent or if we will have any internet at all. Keep us in your prayers!
