Here is a photo
montage of our time in Cambodia. Please read below for an explanation of the
soundtrack.

Song 1: Doing
physical labor in the middle of nowhere, Cambodia, was not what I had in mind
for the month. I was hoping we would be working in Phnom Penh or Siem Reap,
ideally in some form of stopping human trafficking, or helping out those
affected by it. Also, I ideally would have liked aircon. Instead, we were in
Baray Village, at a beautiful, though rustic, homestay style guesthouse, with
no aircon for many miles, hence, you can’t always get what you want, but this
experience, as attested by many previous blogs, was what I needed to learn to
praise God in all times, situations and seasons (even the dry, hot ones).

Song 2: About
halfway through the month, I had a significant attitude change, and realized I
was living a dream I had dreamed long ago-to travel the world, meeting new
people and engaging new cultures, while sharing the love of Christ. It really
is the good life, and God blessed us in so
many ways, with people, food, water, shelter, and showers!

Song 3: We sang a
lot of Christmas songs while working at Solar Café.

Song 4: Always a
good song, we sang Happy Day while working and it was definitely a song on my
heart-every day is a happy day with the love of Jesus!

Song 5: Just a cool
sounding song for some epic pictures of Angkor Wat (it’s from Slumdog
Millionaire, in case you were wondering.)
