This is the third part of a three part series. Please check out the other two first.

The third P of pilgrimage is participation. We have been blessed to be a blessing. People from all over the world are joining in our journey through supporting us. God has supplied the funds so we can share His hope, joy and love with those we meet.

We walk with God and see what He is doing in each nation-in each person. We feel blessed to come alongside for a short time, and pray God will use us as He sees fit. Isaiah 61 comes to mind:

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn and provide for those who grieve in Zion-to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have devastated for generations…you will be named ministers of our God…For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.

With God’s promises and provisions, we can participate in what He is doing in the world. We will bind up the broken hearted, restore the generations-old devastation, and see God’s righteousness and praise spring up before ALL NATIONS.

Amen.
