Please pray for Haiti. Haiti was supposed to be the first country in our route for ministry. However, earlier this month, Haiti experienced another hardship as political and civil unrest spread through their nation. Due to the news of increase gas prices, violent riots and destruction of property occurred. This led to a temporary suspension of the gas price increase. However, there is still strong advisory against traveling to Haiti at the moment.

To ensure our safety, our leadership team after prayer and planning have announced that our route will be changed. We thank God for the commitment and dedication that our leaders have invested in making sure that we start this 11 month journey off strong. Please continue to pray for Haiti. Our hearts are broken that we will not get to travel there first. We’re praying for peace and unity over the country so that we can have the opportunity to serve there also.
We will still be preparing for launch on August 3rd!
In August, we will be traveling to Dominican Republic. Another exciting thing to know is that as a SQUAD, we will be ministering alongside each other. This means that I’ll not only get to be with my ladies from 1010 FIERCE, but I’ll also get to be with my entire J-Squad aka Blue Jays! That’s just 33 people of awesomeness!!
