Enjoy each moment…a friend gave me that advice and I’m trying to walk in that each day instead of worrying so much about how to change and to just be.  I’m learning to pay attention and connect with people and try to be an instrument of love whenever I can.   Whether that is playing volleyball witht the youth, even though everyone is cracking up laughing at my attempt and cheering when I get the ball over or talking in broken Spanish to a mother in the park and playing frisbee with her six year old daughter.  Children are great reminders on how to find joy in the moment.  A part of the ministry we have been doing in Loredo involves children. Here are some pictures and stories of what ministry to children looks like in Loredo.

So who knew you could have so much fun with just some balloons!
Here is the Pastor’s son gearing up for the children’s service on Sunday.

Children’s ministry in Conache, a small mountain community about 30 minutes outside of Loredo where the church we are working with has been teaching children about Jesus for about a year.  There is currently not a church in Conache, but the pastor would someday love to begin a church plant there.

Celebrating with the children in Santa Maria, a poorer part of Loredo where the church goes every Saturday to worship with the children and teach them God’s Word.  We got to sing and play games with the kids.  We got to practice our acting chops doing the story of Daniel and the Lions Den.
