The four of us girls on our team had an adventure on the bus the other day trying to find the children´s school. The sweet woman who cooks for the House of Dreams put us on a bus and told the bus driver what corner  to let us off at. We went until the bus wouldn’t go anymore and we were the only ones left on it. The bus driver said this is your stop. I did not see a school anywhere in sight and we were on a dirt/gravel road outside of the city of Cochabamba. I prayed, God help us find the school, and praise the Lord, as we walked around the bus we say the Assistant Director of the House of Dreams waiting for us.
For the past two weeks we had been helping the school age kids prepare for their schools English Festival. Every grade had a country and they had to memorize facts and do projects about that country in English. There was a booth for each country and all the kids were dressed up and all the parents were there. It was so great to be a part of. One of the older girls saw me and started taking me around to each booth and some of the other children were introducing us to their friends, getting excited when they had a friend who was from the states. The school the children go to is ran by the same ministry that supports the orphanage and it is a bilingual school.

They had to make a poster and talk about, in English, the languages of Kenya.

Two of the older girls dressed in their costumes.
They had to learn and memorize facts about the country of France.

The kindergarten class had the USA.  They had Mickey Mouse, Barbie dolls, and hotdogs on display.
The kindergarteners did a great job memorizing thier lines in English.

We have been so blessed by the children and the ministry of the House of Dreams.  Tomorrow is our last full day in Cochabamba and we are helping the older girls make french toast.  It will be hard saying goodbye; I will miss them.  It has been great being a part of thier lives even for a little bit.
