Yep… in the past 2 months I have been to 5 different countries and haven’t blogged at all. Sorry about that.

Since leaving Peru, I have traveled to Argentina, London, South Africa, Mozambique, and now Swaziland. In most of those places, I was not there for more than a couple of days or so. We were basically just passing through or looking for contacts. However, we were in Mozambique for a couple of weeks.

Here’s a pic of us crammed up for 13 hours traveling to Mozambique.

In Mozambique, we were sent there to go do hurricane relief… ha ha or so we thought. When we arrived there our first day, the locals told us that most of the relief work had been done already. So that meant that we had to change our plans and come up with something else to do for the month in Mozambique. So my team decided to go into the Bush, which meant traveling to small villages out in the middle of no where. So for the next couple of weeks we traveled in and out of the Bush. We spent our time in the Bush preaching, teaching, praying, watching our food get slaughtered, visiting the sick, peeling peanuts, reading, learning African dance moves, and discipling.

Also during our time in Mozambique, I had to say goodbye to one of my teammates/good friends. She was a cool girl and will/is deeply be missed. Amanda Millington, if you are reading this, you are missed and loved sister!

After that, we cruised to Swaziland where we have been for over 2 weeks helping train the new World Racers. All of us are staying in the same house. It is definitely chaotic at times, but for the most part it feels like summer camp or something being around this many peers attending seminars, fighting over the bathroom, playing ultimate Frisbee and having late night dance parties in the kitchen.

So that’s been my life for the past 2 months. It has been crazy, but it has been so much fun, except for the days that the side effects from my malaria pills kick in and cause me to hate everyone and everything. Boy… those were interesting days ;)!
