The Silent Auction has come and gone and things for Team Ginelove are slowing down as summer is now in full swing. But before we kick back beside the pool with our sweet iced teas and surrender our productivity to the triple digit heat, we thought it would be best to tell you all about the awesomeness that was, the Silent Auction.
The Silent Auction was a huge success! All of our thanks and praise begins with our God who blessed us immensely that night! Many fantastic people came out that night to bid and to show their love and support for Ginelove and the mission she is about to embark on. The night would not have been possible without the generosity of so many people, from our donors who provided auction items to the volunteers that gave of their time to help set up and tear down. We are grateful to Longleaf Church for providing the space and to Ben and the band for providing us a fantastic arrangement of music. The kids had a blast jumping their hearts out in the bouncy house and we all went home with extra full bellies thanks to the sweets provided by many of our friends and family.
The grand total brought in by the Silent Auction was $4,386! This put Ginelove just over $11,000 which caused her to reach her November deadline! Her next deadline is January, where all of the remaining funds will be due. Since the Silent Auction, more money has been donated and she is now at $12,262! So, what can we say besides, thank you Jesus for smiling down on us and allowing Ginelove to be a part of bringing Your love and message of forgiveness to the world. And what else can we say but thank you Jesus, for letting all of us who are staying behind to be a part of this eternal story as well. We are humbled and blessed.
Some sweet treats to keep us happy as we bid. Eat your heart out Cupcake Wars!

Lindsey and Kate enjoying some Strawberry cupcakes! Yum!

Here's a little taste of some of the great items we had for folks to bid on. We had something for everybody!

Nicole bidding on the International Food Basket.

Face Painting at it's finest! This was a HUGE HIT, with the kiddos.

The hammered dulcimer was a very cool addition to our auction items. Anyone know how to play? I think Tom is faking.

Glen had to keep his hair back with this awesome head band so it didn't get messed up in the bouncy castle.

BIG THANKS to all of our sponsors. Our community really came through for us.

I'm pretty sure our very talented emcee is harrassing one of the bidders.

We still have plently of t-shirts for sale. Leave a comment below if you are interested or email us at [email protected] or on her facebook page "Love God Do Good" (and be sure to 'like' her page while you're there)!

Here are a few members of Team Ginelove. All very excited and tired after all was said and done! We love you Ginelove and you will be greatly missed.
