God is writing a beautiful story for all of us in each of us. He has put dreams, desires, and plans on our hearts and longs for us to say “Yes!” and follow Him. As some of you may know, a couple of months ago I said yes to a new storyline that the Lord is writing for me. God is calling me to Kenya to fulfill His command to care for the widows and the fatherless. I am ready to go and serve alongside others as we help the displaced people and care for the precious orphaned children.
 
I had planned to be overseas by now, but in order to depart. I must have a specific amount of funds and the total of that funding hasn’t been provided yet. I am completely confident in the Lord’s timing and His ability to provide, and I am resting in Him during this time. I’m also praying for provision. I know that the team in Kenya is eagerly anticipating my arrival as there are many needs amongst them. Would you pray with me? Please pray that doors would open and funds would pour in. Pray that the children and team in Kenya will be sustained and held fast in the Lord’s hand. Pray that the Lord would use me for His Kingdom during this time of waiting and that additional ways for me to best prepare and save for this mission will present themselves.
