I know you wonder what my life looks like on a day to day on the race. Well, it changes every month depends on what ministry I have for the month. But this month living in Cambodia my day typically looks like this:

6:00 am my alarm rang but I turned it off and goes back to sleep
7:00 am breakfast, I used to go. Until they kept feeding me rice, but told my teammates if they served bread and eggs to save one for me, when I wake up at 8 am.
8:30 devotional with the team
8:45 get picked up by our personal Tuc Tuc driver
9-11:30 am at Life University where I help with a preschool class
12:00 pm lunch with the team and the YWAM staff
1-4:30 pm team activities: Bible study, worship, prayer ect.. The rest of the time is free time
5-6 pm teach English at YWAM base
6:40 pm dinner with the team and YWAM staff
7:30 pm team time: feedback and encourage one another
After team time, the girls end the day by watching “Boys me world” or a movie
.

As a special treat to you I want to share with you what our weekend looks like; Saturdays are our off day we spend the day at the beach and on Sundays we go to two different church service one at 3:30 pm and one 7:30 pm. We worship with the locals, and then someone from the team brings the message. Also every week we pick a day where we have girls night and guys’ night. I only have knowledge what the girls night looks like, one time we went out to eat and have $2 desert while playing Uno. One of my favorite girls time so far was actually girsl night in. We each had an Oreo, a bowl to mix peanut butter with sugar, and in another bowl we mixed chocolate mix with milk yummy. After we had our deserts ready we piled up in one of the bunk beds watching “Pride and Prejudice.”  Yep, the girls of team Metanoia know how to have fun.

I love this month, I get to serve with a great community of people and love on the kids we get to teach. Although, I will never be a teacher but I love helping in the preschool class. Mostly in that class I’m responsible to watch one little boy his name is Water. He’s from an abusive home, so he bites and hits the other students. My job is to seat with him, play with him and keep him from hurting others. I really love the little fellow he is so adorable and very smart. I pray a lot for him, for God to bring order in his chaotic life, for him to come to know Christ and become his follower, and for him to choose to love in spite of his circumstances. I love that we are in Cambodia where you are free to speak and talk about God.  In a nutshell that’s my life this month in beautiful Cambodia.
