“Honest Time:
Fundraising isn’t fun. It’s hard, it’s frustrating, and sometimes you just want to quit. You put yourself out there hoping people would see you worthy of their support.
At the same time it’s in these moments God shines through. I have had to learn to let go, trust him deeper, lean on him more, and even when the money isn’t coming in like you’d wished it would, have the certainty that God will provide. I am worthy regardless if you think otherwise. I am done trying to convince you of my worth for your support. God calls us to go into the nations, love the ones the world has deemed unlovable, share the gospel to those who are blinded by their culture, snatching souls from the claws of the devil. Some one once said “if the American church would wake up the problem would be solved” I loved this, many don’t want to donate to world missions because we have a mission field on our back yard. Its true, we pray for revival, but revival begins with YOU. Some are called to local missions, some are called to world missions BOTH for the same cause, same mission. GODS KINGDOM.
In Romans 1, Paul explains how through Christ we have the grace and apostleship to obey by faith among all the nations. Obey, it’s amazing how uncomfortable we get when we are being asked to obey.”
I shared this with facebook a few days ago… I still feel the same way about it all.
I booked my flight to training camp a few weeks ago, faithfully believing God will provide the rest of the money needed. I am $1,288 left for the first goal and $5,388 for my second goal due before I leave in January! ah! This is all getting so real!!
