Our Life in Nepal Part 2: Faith Day and Look at that View!
This video/vlog is about our daily life in Nepal, part 2 in my video series of Our Life in Nepal. The video shows cows crossing in the middle of the street at night, Kids Ministry that my squad participated in (I was sick that day, so I stayed home), the roof from where our squad of 50 (then down to 48) lived for the month in Nepal, our second Sunday of church in Nepal where Amy sang and Katie, Bri, and Sarah spoke, and the last clips are of our Faith Day where we left the house with literally just a daypack with our tents and sleeping bags, a night’s worth of clothes, some snacks and water, and walked several miles that day on faith that someone would let us stay at their house for free that night. We ended up hitch-hiking (so much fun!), running into a Hindu festival, and then we found a man of peace who let us sleep on his roof in tents that night (so the last clip is us waking up on that roof, packing up, and the beautiful view that God blessed us with in the morning)!
This video is of Month 3 of my World Race, so you will get to see a little more of what all-squad month is like on the Race! The video is a little long (12 and a half mins.) because with my videos and my teammate Amy’s videos combined, we had more footage than we thought, so I ended up making it into 2 videos. (Thank you Amy for letting me use your fun Nepal clips!!) When you have a few extra minutes to watch it, I hope you guys enjoy!
Soon I will be posting a blog about my new team, and then I will start working on my videos from India!
