Hey there.
My name is Genesis, I’m 20 years old and living in San Antonio, Texas.
Here I am, with purpose. Over the past year God has taken me on a journey of discovering my place in His plan.. in this BIG world. So here I am. I’m about to enter a new season both in the spiritual and the natural.
God has taught me what it means to be truly surrendered, yielded, undone, to everything HE has for me.
In January of 2019 I will be heading out on the World Race Semesters: Southeast Asia trip to the Philippines. There I will be with a team of college aged students working alongside Kids International Ministries in the city of Tacloban — helping to save at-risk youth, children from the sex-trafficking industry, and raise the orphaned all while sharing the sweet love of the Father.
My biggest prayer is that through this season – (all of the challenges in it), through this mission – (all of the highs and lows), and through this blog – (sharing what God is teaching me), that not only will my heart become more surrendered to His ways, but that yours will also.
If no one ever reads this blog.. this will still be a place for me to write and share my thoughts, my heart, the little things, and the really BIG things. This place will be a place to read back over and see what God has done.
The journey means that we’re never the same. That He is constantly changing us, speaking to us, leading us, correcting and positioning us for the very next thing He wants to do.. it’s a beautiful cycle of His grace and love.
