"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." -James 1:5-8
God is calling through James for the unwavering man who is specific when he asks God for things and does not doubt the Lord will provide it. For God hates doubt for doubt spins from those who do not fully have their faith in Him should we request something expect God to give it to you. Should you not receive what you ask for it is ultimately for our good and we should not doubt the ultimate plan God has for us.
As I meditate on the words above I know that I do not ever truly see what I really need but God knows every second what we need and he provides that true need (not what we think we need) to us. Right now I feel I truly need the Money for my trip on the World Race but I know that if it is God's will for me to go He will provide the money for me. This passage calls us I believe to not worry about our earthy needs for He will provide but we should feel a worry (burden) for those who have not yet seen the light. We need to make sure we are worrying about the right things!!!
