I want to start by saying I knew these days where coming when I would be asked to do work that is far outside of my skill set. Where my response needed to be “just show me how to use a hammer and I will do the best I can.” But it came a lot sooner then expected we were asked three days ago to build a roof for the second story part of an orphanage. So that is what we did. Luckily this month My team is paired up with another team which is a blessing in disguise the other team has three more guys on it and two of them had experience in construction and of course with Josh and I on my team. Where one of us had experience in that area and it wasn’t me. But the Lord was really beginning to teach me how I could help these people in such a big way and that was through helping in the rebuilding process.
This month has been rough already we have really began to feel the devil and all his attacks as well as being able to call on the spirit to help and truly feel his presence. A message that we really have been receiving here. Is how loved these people really are. I praise God for how he has blessed us with His eyes to see that. That is really what I believe has made the biggest difference in all of our lives.
Prayer Requests for the month
- Please be in prayer for our team unity the devil is throwing everything he has at us.
- Continued love for these people.
- The work that we are doing is showing Christ love through us.
- The Haitians will see in us a people who are not just wanting to give them money or handouts but is wanting to love on them.
