Day 5 9-13-2012 DTD Ministry

We continued our Door to Door ministry where we had the opportunity to talk to a lot of people. Such a blessing to spend time with these people and to listen to their stories we spent about thirty minutes with one gentelman who had been shot and was in a wheelchair but loved letting us read the bible to him and bring the church with us. He also shared a cocunut with us  which is what these people like todo they are very giving of what of what little they have such an awesome model that we should begin living by.  We were unable to do our basic school ministry due to the fact that there was a riot going on downtown near the school we were going to visit. So we finished the library project at the high school instead and made it back just in time for the rain to start.

Day 6 9-14-2012 Laundry Day

We woke up at 5am this morning to do laundry and spent most of the day relaxing. we went to the big market around 10 am they have a street market here on mondays and fridays! They Lord really built our team today through several trials that we dealt with on a personal basis. But at the end of the day we went to an english speaking school were we began making contacts the teacher is an american and he told us about a great restaurant that we will visit tomorrow that one of his students family owns so we are meeting the teacher for lunch tomorrow. We loved the opportunity that the Lord also provided for us to go back next friday for a cookout and dance party at the same english school. That will be a lot of fun especially that we don't need a translator to talk to these people.
