Today we went back to school and were sent a little surprise we showed up at our first class room to talk in and pastor asks us to talk about "Teen Pregnancy." So our team was like ok this is a very interesting topic but we can work with this. So we got up and began discussing this from a biblical perspective and really nailed the topic on the head. I was really proud how are team handled the conversation. And lead it back to the LORD. We then finished off by praying for the students and really felt like we conquered a difficult subject. We then walked back to the house and began an afternoon off we had plans to go to another church that night so they always give us a part of the day off to rest a little. We really enjoyed this time to use for our quiet time as well as team time which was awesome again today. I also was able to hear two of the girls testimonies which really gave me more context when it came to there background and where they came from. What a awesome day of team growing. Tonight we went to a church where I have never heard such loud music also Josh also was asked to play a song so he attempted to try and play on the guitar for them but there guitar did not work so instead he played the chords on the piano with very little experience on the piano but he did an awesome job.
Day 12 9-20-2012
We started out this morning with some neighborhood sharing today. I told myself I was going to step out of my comfort zone. And I did we talked to several people including a man who was blind. Josh and I prayed for him and asked God if he would heal the man. We didn't see anything right away but that does not mean God did not use us to touch this mans life in a fresh way. We spent the afternoon off and went around 5pm to go and play some sports with the local kids had a blast playing basketball and showing Christ's love through that opportunity.
Day 13 9-21-2012
We started today by getting up and doing laundry. Then Josh and I went back to the church to fix a few leaks on the roof. Tonight we went a party that was put on by the english class and had a lot of fun the same guy that made us all the food when we grabbed lunch in town provided party food for us last night. We had a dance floor open all night and had live music and a little Karaoke we had a lot of fun. The best night here so far!
