Why go on a trip that could cost me everything? Why spend a crazy amount of time and money? These are questions that I have faced as of late from friends, family, and acquaintances. I wanted to address these questions and I hope that the answers I provide below gives you a better prospective then you have now.
Let me start with a one word answer "GOD." Through my prayers of asking is this your "really," your will. Through my prayers of asking God how can I possibly raise the money that is needed to travel for 11 months? Let me start by answering the former "I" can't raise these funds at all! Only by God's providence will the money for this trip come in nothing I can do will ever change that.
Sure this trip could cost me everything (just getting out of college trying to start a career while still having to worrying about a small amount of school debt. Even now as I am witing this I should be working on homework instead of blogging) but God wants me to illustrate this message to everyone that I need to change my worry in to trust. My doubts and fears into hopes and joys. For the LORD is working in a massive way in the lives of the people that are going to be affected by this trip and I get to play a very small role in their lives planting and watering seeds that then will grow into more planters and more seeds through those planters what an awesome thing to be apart of! I hope this is put into better perspective as you are able to read the passion in my words I am awe struck and excited that I have this oppurtunity.
