Day 7 9-15-2012 Day Off
We were able to sleep in this morning. eat a late breakfast and then had plans for lunch at a local restaurant our first time eating out as a team. When we got there they kept bringing out more and more food for us. Come to find out later they were doing this free of charge. What an hospitable group of people we really fell in love with the food here it is so good. There is this stuff called "tin tin" basically tastes like uncooked corn bread very good. We went for ice cream after that. We also made plans to go to the beach with the english teacher next saturday. And to buy the pastor a fan as a present for letting us stay in the house what a blessing.
Day 8 9-16-2012 Church at the boarder
We spent today being a sunday going between different services first in the morning we went to a service on the boarder of haiti and the DR it was an hour and a half drive to the small community church loved the service there it was so cool to see how God used the power of His name to further the church all over the country side. We spent the afternoon relaxing and killing time in different ways. Then in the evening we went back to the church that we went to a week earlier and led a couple of songs but really just wanted to be in the community to continue with the relationship we have had so far.
