5 Straight days of traveling only done on the world race! We traveled through 5 countries in 5 days through two 8+ hour bus rides and 4 flights, including one 14 and a half hour plane ride to finally reach our location: Chiang Mai, Thailand. Who would have thought that the day we arrived here I felt like I had come home. This place is one of the prettiest countries I have ever been able to travel too! If God said move to Thailand I wouldn’t even hesitate.:)

The culture here is friendly and welcoming; some people say that Thai people have 19 different meanings for their smiles. So as you can imagine they smile a lot! God is so great! This country is also known as a Buddhist country, “to be Thai is to be Buddhist” as they would say. As you can imagine a lot of tourists are drawn here to visit the Buddhist temples. Which, all religions aside, are very beautiful places but are built to the wrong god. We had the opportunity to visit these places of worship and I was shocked by how many people come there to pray and ask for blessing and luck. I wrote this blog in order to sum up what I have learned in the last few days for you. I hope that through this post you are able to see these people as I have seen them!
