Top 5 questions people ask me about the world race:
1.) Where are you going?
2.) When are you leaving?
3.) How long will you be gone?
4.) Are you excited?
5.) IT COSTS HOW MUCH???
All of the first 4 questions are easy to talk about…but that 5th one is a doozy! It almost feels like I’m on the verge of begging people for money so that I can do my thing for a year, BUT I have to make myself understand that’s not the case at all!!! God equipped me to be able to take a year off of my life here and go overseas to share His love and Salvation, likewise He equipped some of you to be able to give financially to other ministries or to my own so that we will be able to GO.
This is my prayer- that God would raise the funds for me to go on this mission trip. I have no doubt that He will. It’s easy to be excited for me about having this opportunity, but it’s harder to step out and support through your own finances. I know from personal experience that I don’t want people asking me for a hand out constantly, but I’m not asking for a hand out……..I’m asking for you to allow God to use you to help me 🙂 If you feel you should give, then give. If not, then just pray for me and my team that we will be doing the work of Christ. I appreciate and Love each of you for being interested in my life enough to care about this trip. I pray that God blesses each of you as well, that His peace will be with you!
