>>So, I’m going to start out this blog post with all honesty….This trip is going to be FUN! I’ve heard lots and lots of different reactions, opinions, and emotions about the WR. Some people think that it is a glorified sight seeing trip, some people don’t want to see me go away for a whole year, some people are jealous that I get to serve in all those countries, some people see it as a growing opportunity, some people are pumped that God will use me. Well, whatever the case may be, I can’t wait for the trip.
>>I think in a little way it has all of those things in common. I think what it comes down to is where is my heart in all of this? Well, just to be honest…I will have fun, But I will give my all till I have no more to give. It’s kinda like trying to wrap up Christianity in a nutshell, everybody has different opinions about why people are Christians, but ultimately it comes down to a whole heap of reasons!
>>Why did I choose a trip like this? Who knows really! But, God knows my heart and I think that in the end that’s the only reason I need, to follow God’s will for me in this spot in my life. For some people it might be just a trip or a way to get out of the normal day-to-day for a while, but it’s going to be what I make it. What God makes it.
“For God so loved the WORLD that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in
Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
God loves the WORLD. I want to share with other cultures what I’ve been
taught here in the U.S. my whole life. That they are loved.
>>This trip, whether you have positive or negative feelings towards it, is going to give me the platform to tell people news that will save their lives 🙂 That’s exciting no matter if the WR is “good” or “bad”! So, I’m going to stop trying to convince people to love the idea of the trip, and just let people know that God is going to move and I have no doubt that He will be with me here…….and all around the world! 🙂 I can’t hold it in anymore!
LET’S GO ON THE WORLD RACE!
>>p.s. Maybe training camp first…haha…I want to be prepared!
