home is no longer a place,
it’s people, it’s smells
it’s being known & seen.
i carry home with me.
home is where the Father dwells,
He dwells in me!
home is when the morning light
dances on the kitchen floor,
home is in the deep breathes & the stillness.
home is in the belly laughs & food fights.
gathering together- we build our home,
a shelter created from what we
each bring to the table.
Your windy whispers touch my soul,
quenching my spirit.
birdsongs bear testament to Your faithfulness.
beckoning, You draw me deeper,
You seek to be known, You seek to love.
home is the culmination of Your character,
in Your people.
