Patagonia
is Amazing!!
So I bought a
Patagonia rain coat about 5 years ago. The jacket has been great, but after five years of being loved the thing was getting a bit ratty and it was no longer really waterproof. So sadly I thought I was going to have to buy another one. I was sad about for two reasons 1) Money – I did not really have the cash to fork out for a new jacket 2) this jacket has been everywhere with me….Oh the memories…. sigh.
My brother reminded me that
Patagonia has a life time guarantee with it and I should see if they would give me a new jacket since the lining in mine was falling apart. I really doubted anything would come of it, but I went to the store where I bought it (Blue Ridge Mt sports in Williamsburg VA — I just want to thank everyone over there for being so kind to me as I feel as it has become my second home as I have been in and out of there so much! They have been extremely helpful!) They told me to send in the jacket to Patagonia – but when I told them I was leaving in like a week to go to Africa the sales guy went and called the Patagonia office — he came back took a new jacket off the rack — and said its all taken care of have a great trip!!! Ok so very happy at that moment!! That guy became my new best friend — way to be!! On a sad note I had to give up my old blue jacket — a moment of silence please…. ok he is in a better place now getting repaired and hopefully to a new owner who will take him more places.
So that is my amazing
Patagonia story! Yah!
Also my pharmacist gave me a really great discount on my prescriptions
and my eye doc helped me out a bit too —
It has been really encouraging – Praise God!
