Hello all!
We are back!

I will be honest it was real nice not having to worry about technology for a month, but it is also real good to get back on the blogging train.

Do I have some fun stories for you! They are being worked on and formulated at the moment so you will have to stay tuned.
Same place same channel.

Just wanted to let you know that I am doing well.

I got to celebrate my 26th birthday (December 17th) here in Hong Kong.

My team surprised me and turned the dining room of the house we are staying in into an Italian restaurant of sorts.
I was greeted by a sign which read: Welcome to Gabrielle’s Bistro!
Inside the rest of the squad were all sitting at candle lit tables, complete with table cloths, menus, and name tags. The Italian ambient music also did much to the atmosphere!

They even made little menus and they were the “waiters” to serve all of us. After an amazing dinner of salad, delish lasagna, spaghetti, and a white sauce, the “waiters” came out of the kitchen singing a restaurant style happy birthday song with cheese cake and birthday candles in hand. It was very very sweet and I was touched by all the trouble they went to! Plus the food was GREAT!! and very appreciated change from rice! A great way to enter 26.

I wanted to send out a Thank You to all who were involved in planning my birthday! You guys made me feel loved and my tummy felt very happy as well!
You guys are the best!
I love my family!

It is odd this the the first birthday that I have had that I felt my age. At first I was sad about leaving my early 20s — not that I am old or anything — I just think up to this point after 18 no matter how old I got I felt 18 — I feel 26 — I feel grown up — yet I still got a lot of growing to do.

We leave for Manila, Philippines on Saturday and will be in the Philippines until February.

Don’t worry I have many pictures, videos, and stories to share!

Thanks for all your prayers and support!
