Travel Log:
Leave hotel between 12 am and 1 am to head to airport.
Arrive at airport around 1:20 am
Check in and wait for our flight out of Atlanta
Take off from Atlanta to Charleston at 5:30
Land in Charleston
Go directly to connecting flight (wait a little) and take off from Charleston to New York at 8am
13 hour Layover at JFK Airport in New York
Take off from New York to Warsaw, Poland at 12 am
(Our flight was supposed to leave at 10:50 but we sat on the plane for 1hr and only took off at 12 am)
Land in Warsaw at 1:25pm
Take off from Warsaw to Sophia, Bulgaria at 1:50pm
Land in Sophia at 5:15pm
Leave with ministry contact in van around 6pm
Arrive in Dobromirka around 9:30pm
Total hours of travel: 40+
Total hours of sleep: 3-4 hrs … I dont sleep well in public places or on airplanes…

True story, the very words: “I like looking through airplanes in windows” came from my mouth, followed by uncontrollable laughter. There has been A LOT of uncontrollable laughter…Everything seems funnier when you haven’t slept.”
