Hello Everyone!
So today is 100 days until E squad leaves for Albania (…well 100 days until July that is).
How CRAZY is that?! Its getting so close. I didnt really feel real until today, though, when I went to REI’s garage sale and was able to get a beautiful 65L Osprey bag, which I will be living out of for a year. It is beautiful.
I am so thankful because everything is starting to come together.
There is only one thing keeping me from training camp and launch however. You guessed it, FUNDS. By May 5th I need to have $3500 and by the end of June I need to have $7500 in order to launch. Currently I have about $2500, which means that I need $1000 by the end of next month.
I’ll admit it worries me sometimes–wondering if there is more that I can do to pull in more funds. But I’m learning to just step back and realize that there isn’t that much more that I can do. I just need to REST. To pray and trust.
Ya, remember that post I recently did on rest? Well, I needed to hear that again. And again. And again. I think you get the point. The Lord has been teaching me to trust, too.
Trust in His goodness.
Trust in His faithfulness.
Trust in His provision.
He has never ever ever failed me before. I know that the funds will come in.
