“I don’t care what the belief of the person I’m praying for is. I am the believer. My faith can heal them.” –Todd White
Highlights from hitting the streets of Diriamba:
We met an older gentleman named Gabriel. He is in his 70’s and walks with a cane. Upon meeting him, he tells me that he has arthritis in both his knees. So me and the team begin to pray life into his knees and ask God for regeneration. Immediately after prayer, Gabriel stands up and begins to walk around without his cane! Then, for the first time in 7 years, Gabriel is able to bend his knees and squat! Tears of joy rolled down his face and he was giving glory to God for his healing.
Immediately after Gabriel, a man named Edgar came by. He was asking for us to pray for him. We asked him why and he suddenly broke into tears. He said that he has lost his life to alcohol. He lost his job, his wife, and his mind to alcoholism. He did not want to be a slave to drinking anymore. In his tears I embraced him and began to pray over him. At the conclusion of the prayer, Edgar began declaring himself healed of alcoholism and a renewed relationship with hi Heavenly Father!
Another day, A teammate of mine, Erica, noticed a guy sitting alone on a bench. Once we approached he began crying. He began to share how he just lost his home and has nowhere to go. His wife left him for another man because he was not a good provider for his family. However, just when he thought his life was ruined, God stepped in. We prayed for this man and the atmosphere in his life changed. His tears turned into smiles! He recognized that we were angels sent by God to inspire him, to lift him from his fall. He thanked us immensely for spending time with him and had a renewed hope that God had plans for him.

We don’t need to wait for someone to know Jesus so they can receive healing. Our faith as children of our Heavenly Father is enough. And when an unbeliever is met by our great God, something is going to change. Pray hard folks. Get down and dirty with the hurting.
