I just recently got back from a 2-week trip to Cuba. Our days were long, our days were tiring, and our days were filled with the Lord coming through.
HAVANA
For 2 weeks, our 3 person team did house visits, preached, healed, ministered, laughed, cried, played baseball, and saw the Lord work miracles.
It is impossible to list off all the healings and wonders we saw the Father do in our time. An early guestimate would be about 30-40 healings. Some were emotional and some were physical.
Before going to Cuba, the word our team kept getting was a healing revival.
The following are 4 testimonies of the miraculous things we saw:
- One of our house visits was with a woman named Delia who lost her vision about 7 years ago after having glaucoma. As she describes it, for the last 7 years it is as if “the sun is in her eyes all the time.” She has not been able to make out anything but shadows in that time.
As we finished praying for her, she told us that the sun lifted. Immediately she was able to identify people in the room, how many fingers I was holding up, and patterns on shirts.
As our time progressed in Cuba, she began to have more and more restoration of vision. And, like a little girl, became giddy as she began to see her surroundings more and more. She had lost hope to her blindness, but now she can see!
- I don’t remember the names in this testimony, but we entered a home with a family whose sun has been paralyzed from the chest down for about 3 years. The word I felt the Lord say to his mom was ask anything and it will be done. She asked that her son be healed.
As I prayed for him, I pressed different points of his spine to test his feeling, which started around the middle of his shoulder blades.
By the time we finished praying, he could feel past halfway down his back, about 17 inches of feeling was restored!
- On two occasions, we encountered women who do not believe in Jesus but one suffered from a bad back that gave her extreme pain for years. The other woman had a sharp pain in her kidneys.

After praying for both, they each claimed that all the pain had left their bodies. Those kinds of healings are always tricky because you can’t see the difference, but for someone who does not believe in Jesus, what benefit is it for them to tell us they are healed when they are not?
On the contrary, after each of the healings we invited them to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior and both said “YES!”
- We met a woman named Beatrice in our house visit and invited her to come to church. When she came, that evening, she accepted the Lord in her heart for the first time.
Unbeknownst to us, she had been barren from having children and was told she would never be able to.
The day after she accepted Jesus, at a doctors appointment, it was confirmed to her that a miracle happened and that she was healed and now capable of having children!
Seriously, I have never experienced so much fruit and healings. But the Lord’s words never fail.
So many healings happened in those weeks that it would take too many blogs to share them all.
All the glory goes to him. He is the healer.
