Something fun I would like to share with you all is to give you a day in the life of a World Racer.
For Honduras, the day starts with 7-8 fellow racers walking by my head as I sleep on the floor. This generally means it is somewhere between 7:45 – 8:15 am. This is when I get my quiet time in.

Breakfast is usually served around 9am. The usual breakfast we eat is cereal or oatmeal.

If we are working on the property, we usually start right after breakfast. If we are serving off property then this is where we all find things to do like laundry, hackey sack, or, as of today, get in a rumble with 20 Honduran kids.

Off property activites usually start around 1pm. These will usually run until 5-6pm.
Dinner is served around 6:30. Team time will take place sometime after dinner.
After team time, usually the squad will hang out or engage in sweet worship sessions. We lights out around 10pm and start all over again.

Biggest Challenges:
No chairs/couches- you learn to sit on the floor for hours or sit on rocks
No hot water- cold showers or smell like funk
No alone time(usually)- there are minimum 5 ppl everywhere you turn
Random gunshots at night- nothing to fear, apparently very common in Honduras
Meals- not that they are bad, just that sometimes there isn’t enough. My plate has been open to love offerings from time to time
Co-ed bathrooms- weird at first but u get used to it

I am loving the experience here, but this is just to give you some insight on what a typical day looks like.
