You have exceedingly done more for us in a week than you will ever know. With that, we want to take a moment (or two) and thank each one of you. As you read what follows, and find transcendence in the words, know that we are speaking to all of our sisters in Christ, but this is personally written for you alone.
In a week, you showered us eleven men with an abundance of love that is unlike anything we have ever felt. The words, “I love you”, which usually are so hard for us to let go of, seemingly flowed off our lips time and time again because of the joy you brought us. Your words, and more importantly, your actions, showed us how to love our family and friends better. We are lucky to call you our sisters. You displayed for us what it takes to love and respect a woman. We cannot express this in any other way than the tears that drop with each key-stroke. God has blessed our lives with you being a part of them and we look forward to experiencing this journey with you by our sides. All the words you lifted up for us are forever etched into our hearts.
We saw how much you care. We saw how you desire more. We saw how you fear the Lord. We want to tell you that your actions did not go unnoticed. Your ambitions, your passions, and your love are becoming ours. The challenging words you so carefully spoke pressed into our hearts allowing us to review them as we head forward and apply them to our own walks. Your words are not meaningless in the least. Each word is a breath of fresh air that saves us from all the madness that this world can bring. Every sentence and thought you share renews our souls.
We’re sorry for not loving you more before this past week. Through authenticity, vulnerability and honor you have completely shattered the mold we have put around our future spouses. We know that nobody is perfect and that is what we love most about you. You ladies were not afraid to be messy. You communicated the hard things and fought through whatever awkwardness may follow. You chose not to retreat, but push forward. For that, you are simply incredible. Whether it was a brother or sister, you pursued them this week. In their weakness, you were there to provide strength and support. Each little thing you did not realize you were doing left a reminder in our eleven hearts of the beauty you exude.
All the times this past week you shared your food, prayed over us, or sang with your angelic voices…we thank you. You all have this amazing ability to provide peace in our hearts. For that, we are completely captivated by you and the joy your life brings us.
We thank you for displaying unequivocal love. When we look at you, we see a love that shines unparalleled. Continue to let your love radiate outward so it can brighten the steps of those around you as it did for the eleven of us. We see Christ in you and cannot wait to learn more from you. You’re teaching us invaluable lessons that we will treasure for a lifetime.
Although there are very few words that could begin to describe how we feel about you, we want to remind you that you are beautiful. You are worthy. You are clothed in dignity. You walk with grace and eloquence. You speak wisdom. You are the definition of noble character. For that, it is our promise that we will die each day trying to transform ourselves into the men that you so greatly deserve. It is because of you that we now know what a Godly woman is and what a Godly woman desires.
As our Race starts in a couple months, we're blown away at the thoughts of what God potentially has in store for us. Our relationship with each of you will skyrocket because we are already beginning to love you better. We’re seeing that sometimes we may have to meet you half-way and sometimes we may have to learn what love language is best for you. We simply don’t want you to be a part of our lives; we want you to be our lives. We will never be the same because you are you. No thoughts, no measure, and no words can fully capture the elation your beauty throws us.
Your brothers.
