I’m halfway done, yeah I’m halfway finished
I never would have guessed that this is the life I’d be living.
When I stepped on that plane about six months back
I wasn’t aware of how my heart would be hi-jacked.
Taken over by the one and only Living God.
Ripped to pieces, mended, and passed out from spot to spot.
From city to village and from country to town
God uses me to spread His love to every person around.
Big or small, young or old
God gives me the courage to speak truth and speak BOLD.
To let these people know there’s more to life than sex, alcohol, and dope.
That all you really need is His Love, His Grace and His Hope.
I am called to show God’s children He gives life and gives it abundantly.
I pray that when I share the gospel, I share it redundantly,
This is not a blunder, see? Sharing truth is fun for me.
We’re called to speak truth and to speak life
To let the world know that they aren’t alone in their trife.
With all the pain and sorrow a lot of people wonder if He still cares,
But I promise you He’s been through it and I promise you He’s there.
I promise you, I swear, He’s got your hand and He’ll be there,
From beginning to the end, He came before, during and He’ll come again after,
The God I serve is bigger than any trial or disaster,
He will walk you right through your pain, to your smile, to your laughter.
His love never fails, and it never runs out,
No matter how little our faith, or how big our doubt
His faithfulness never fades, and His grace stands stout.
So no matter what you’ve done or where you’re at,
You could never wear out His welcome mat.
So knock on the door and for you it will open.
There’s an empty chair with your name at His glorious table.
Because YOU have been chosen.
And my friend, that is no fable.
There are countless people who have yet to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, and who have yet to experience the love of the Living Father. And while My squad and I will not be able to reach all of them on this trip, there are still a lot of people to be reached over these next 5 months and I need YOUR help to continue to stay here.
